JERSEY CITY, N.J., Nov. 04, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — AvePoint (Nasdaq: AVPT; SGX: AVP), the AI Trust Company, today announced the appointment of Ali Rohani as Chief Strategy and Customer Officer, joining the AvePoint Executive Leadership Team. In this role, Rohani will lead a unified, global strategy for defining and developing the AI Trust category and deepening the value AvePoint delivers to more than 28,000 existing customers. His organization brings Customer Success together with category and brand strategy to more closely connect customer needs and market insights with how AvePoint defines its category, differentiates its platform, and communicates its value to the market.
Rohani brings more than 25 years of product and go-to-market leadership experience across three enterprise software categories: experience management (Qualtrics), unified communications (Microsoft), and enterprise content management (IBM). Most recently, he served as Chief Transformation Officer at Qualtrics, where he led the company’s transformation office and founded Qualtrics Edge, growing its AI-powered research and insights business into a nine-figure business spanning synthetic data, AI-powered applications, and expert services. He also shaped Qualtrics’ strategy for industries including Public Sector, Healthcare, and Financial Services and in 2017 founded the Qualtrics Partner Network. Earlier, Rohani served as Vice President and Global Head of Customer Engineering for Microsoft Teams and Skype for Business at Microsoft as well as Lead Product Manager and Worldwide Technical Sales Lead, Enterprise Content Management at IBM.
“As AI agents act on enterprise data, customers are shifting their focus from deployment to trust,” said Dr. Tianyi Jiang (TJ), CEO and Co-Founder, AvePoint. “Earning that trust is the next frontier of leadership, and customer outcomes must guide every decision we make. By appointing a Chief Strategy and Customer Officer, we’re translating that commitment into action across our business. Ali’s track record of building businesses around what customers need next makes him an exceptional addition to our leadership team.”
As Chief Strategy and Customer Officer, Rohani will focus on strengthening the end-to-end customer experience from onboarding and adoption through long-term growth. By connecting customer strategy more closely to category and brand strategy and with how AvePoint goes to market, Rohani will ensure that the Company delivers a consistent experience through renewal and expansion, that the AI Trust Company story reflects what customers are achieving, and that every customer gets full value from their AvePoint deployments.
“Our customers are at the center of AvePoint’s next stage of growth, and Ali gives us a leader who can look across the entire customer journey and connect it to one strategy,” said Taylor Davenport, Chief Revenue Officer, AvePoint. “Ali has built and scaled businesses by staying relentlessly focused on what customers need and where markets are going next. His experience will be invaluable as we deepen the value we deliver to customers and define the AI Trust category, and as we tell that story alongside the AvePoint Trust Platform.”
Rohani joins at a pivotal time for AvePoint. The recent launch of the AvePoint Trust Platform and AvePoint’s inclusion in the first Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for AI Agent Management Platforms have given the Company strong momentum in the emerging AI Trust market.
“Every company will soon have access to the same AI. What will set organizations apart is whether they can prove they trust what it does,” said Ali Rohani, Chief Strategy and Customer Officer, AvePoint. “AvePoint has spent 25 years inside the platforms where enterprise knowledge lives, and that experience gives customers a real advantage as AI starts acting on their data. My focus is ensuring that every customer turns that advantage into measurable value, and that what we learn from them shapes everything we bring to market. I’m excited to join TJ, Taylor, and the AvePoint team at such an important moment.”
