Nusano and Taiwan-based Primo Biotechnology announced a multi-isotope supply agreement to support radiotheranostic development and targeted cancer therapies.
UT, UNITED STATES, October 14, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Nusano, a physics company transforming the production of radioisotopes, and Primo Biotechnology, a Taiwan-based radiopharmaceutical developer, today announced a multi-isotope supply agreement to support Primo’s radiotheranostic product pipeline and strengthen access to critical medical isotopes used in the development of targeted cancer therapies.
The agreement gives Primo access to Nusano-produced radioisotopes, including lutetium-177, actinium-225, indium-111, zirconium-89, and terbium-161.
“At Primo, we are working to advance innovative radiotheranostic medicines that can improve the lives of cancer patients,” said Dr. Ya-Yao Huang, Chairman and CEO of Primo Biotechnology. “That work depends on reliable access to critical medical isotopes, and this agreement with Nusano strengthens our ability to develop and deliver next-generation radiotherapeutics with greater confidence.”
Nusano’s radioisotope production platform combines established technologies from universities and world-class research centers with the company’s patented particle acceleration technology. The result is one of the first significant advancements in radioisotope production in decades: a smaller, more efficient platform capable of simultaneously manufacturing up to 12 different radioisotopes.
“Radiotherapeutic developers need dependable access to radioisotopes to move programs from discovery to clinical impact,” said Howard Lewin, Nusano co-founder and Chief Product Development Officer. “Nusano’s production platform is built to deliver that reliability, with the capacity and flexibility to grow and adapt with our customers’ needs. We are proud to establish a supplier relationship with Primo and look forward to supporting their pipeline of next-generation cancer therapies.”
