Investortools expands IDN with FHN Financial, giving Perform® users direct liquidity access, RFQ capabilities, and a more streamlined trading workflow.
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO, UNITED STATES, September 16, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Investortools, a leading provider of fixed-income software solutions, today announced a new integration between the Investortools Dealer Network (IDN) and FHN Financial, a nationally recognized fixed-income securities dealer with average daily trading volume exceeding $4.2 billion.
Through this new partnership, buy-side users gain direct access to FHN Financial’s liquidity through the IDN, allowing them to seamlessly manage bidding, trade execution, and pre- and post-allocation processing directly within Perform®. The connection also supports request-for-quote (RFQ) protocol for municipal securities, helping users source liquidity, reduce manual intervention, and streamline the trading process from inquiry through execution.
The IDN is the connectivity layer that powers Perform®, Investortools’ portfolio, order, and execution management product. The IDN delivers Investortools clients an extensive, consolidated view of their secondary market, enabling them to source opportunities, streamline trading operations, and optimize portfolio construction within a single, integrated workspace.
By adding FHN Financial to the IDN, users can discover additional trading opportunities without pivoting away to multiple systems. “We’re committed to expanding the Investortools Dealer Network to deliver meaningful liquidity and broad market reach to our clients,” said James Morris, Senior Vice President and Head of Sales at Investortools. “FHN Financial’s institutional presence makes them a valuable addition to IDN.”
This integration reflects a mutual commitment to reducing barriers between buy-side firms and liquidity providers by facilitating a seamless experience that supports both electronic and relationship-driven trading.
“At FHN Financial, we are focused on reducing execution friction and meeting customers where they prefer to transact,” said Mike Allen, Executive Vice President and Head of Municipal Products at FHN Financial.
As fixed-income markets continue to evolve, firms are looking for ways to connect investment decisions, trade discovery, trade execution, and portfolio construction within a single workflow. The IDN was built to help bridge those functions for a more efficient experience. As the ecosystem continues to grow, Investortools remains committed to expanding connectivity, improving workflow efficiency, and helping clients make more informed trading decisions.
