New AI capabilities designed to create clinician-specific summaries, draft visit notes, support insurance authorizations, and assess third party records
DENVER, CO, UNITED STATES, September 15, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Fertility Pro, a provider of 100% cloud-based fertility clinic software, today announced the development of Fertility Pro AI Chart Signals, a new set of artificial intelligence capabilities designed to turn information already documented in a patient’s chart into actionable, clinically relevant documents.
AI Chart Signals is being developed to help fertility clinics reduce administrative work, improve care coordination, and identify missing or contradictory information while keeping clinicians in control of every clinical decision.
The technology has been validated against real, de-identified chart data in a controlled development environment. Fertility Pro is now advancing the capabilities through clinical review, quality measurement, and integration into its EMR platform.

Clinical summaries tailored to the receiving provider
AI Chart Signals is designed to review the patient’s fertility record and prepare referral letters and transfer-of-care summaries tailored to the clinician receiving them.
The platform supports documents intended for reproductive endocrinologists, OB/GYNs assuming prenatal care, family physicians and general practitioners, urologists evaluating male-factor infertility, genetic counselors, and anesthesiologists conducting preoperative reviews.
Each version emphasizes the information most relevant to the receiving provider. For example, an obstetric summary may include conception details, estimated due-date calculations, serial beta hCG results, early ultrasound findings, and the luteal-support taper plan. A preoperative anesthesia summary may highlight allergies, medications, antiplatelet or sedative considerations, ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome indicators, and pregnancy status.
Visit-note drafts generated from documented information
The new capabilities are also designed to prepare structured visit-note drafts using information already recorded for that encounter, including:
Vital signs
Hormone results
Follicle measurements
Endometrial thickness
Active medications
Orders placed during the visit
The physician or nurse reviews the draft, adds clinical judgment, makes any necessary changes, and signs the completed note.
Insurance coverage and medical-necessity support
Fertility Pro is developing AI-assisted medical-necessity documents to help billing, prior-authorization, and financial counseling teams support requests for fertility treatments, medications, and procedures.
The documents draw from diagnoses, laboratory and imaging results, and prior treatment history already contained in the chart. The capability is being designed to address specific coverage requests and denial reasons, with support for payer-specific criteria planned for future development.
Donor and gestational carrier assessments
AI Chart Signals will also help third-party reproduction programs evaluate the completeness of candidate records for egg donors, sperm donors, and gestational carriers.
The system is designed to compare the documented record with applicable FDA donor-eligibility requirements, national guidance, and additional agency-specific criteria. It then presents the supporting evidence and identifies information that may be missing, outdated, or contradictory.
The technology does not determine whether a candidate is eligible. That decision remains with the responsible clinician and, where applicable, the program’s legal and compliance teams.
Built on AWS for secure, scalable AI development
Fertility Pro uses Amazon Bedrock to support the development of AI Chart Signals. Amazon Bedrock provides access to foundation models and tools for building generative AI applications within the AWS environment, allowing Fertility Pro to develop and scale its AI capabilities while maintaining its healthcare-focused security, privacy, and data-governance requirements.
Patient information remains within the same healthcare-compliant environment and geographic hosting region in which it is already stored. Fertility Pro does not use patient information to train artificial intelligence models.
Designed around clinical trust and oversight
AI Chart Signals reports only information supported by the patient’s record. When information is unavailable, the system identifies the gap instead of generating an assumption.
During testing with real, de-identified records, the technology identified issues including inconsistent estimated due-date calculations, conflicting obstetric histories, physiologically implausible medication or vital-sign values, and oocyte counts that did not reconcile across the record.
Every AI-generated document must be reviewed and accepted by an authorized clinical user before it can be finalized or released. Outputs include an AI-generated content notice, and the system maintains an audit record showing who requested and approved each document.

Our objective is to give fertility professionals more time for patient care without compromising clinical oversight.”
Fertility Pro expects to introduce AI Chart Signals within its EMR following the completion of clinical and legal review, expanded quality testing, and product integration.
