The joint event will feature Kickstarter CEO Everette Taylor and XGIMI’s Head of Global Marketing Yanni Jiang discussing how to bring exciting products to life while featuring immersive demonstrations and showcases from successful Kickstarter brands, and the retail launch of MemoMind One.

NEW YORK, Nov. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Today, XGIMI and Kickstarter join forces to host an interactive showcase in New York City, celebrating the record-breaking success of XGIMI’s AURA 3 Series Kickstarter campaign and the power of community-driven product innovation. 

• Launched on October 20, the AURA 3 Series campaign reached $10 million in funding within just two hours, making it the fastest project in Kickstarter history to achieve this milestone. This achievement underscores the growing role of crowdfunding as a platform for introducing new products and connecting with consumers.

As part of the event, Kickstarter CEO (Everette Taylor) and XGIMI’s Head of Global Marketing (Yanni Jiang) will participate in a fireside chat exploring how XGIMI utilized Kickstarter as a product launch platform and in the process built meaningful relationships with its backer community, as well as incorporated their feedback into product development.

The event will feature dedicated experience zones showcasing XGIMI’s latest projection technology, alongside hands-on demonstrations from other successful Kickstarter projects, including (among others):

• Morpho – Morpho is a desktop UV printer from former DJI engineering executive Brett Wang that prints directly onto finished objects. It has a moving-gantry design, a large enclosed print chamber and refillable ink tanks instead of chipped cartridges, and it is aimed at artists, Etsy sellers and small shops.
• Looking Glass – Looking Glass is a Brooklyn-based holographic display company that has run six successful Kickstarter projects. The most recent are the personal and portable Looking Glass Go and musubi, a consumer holographic photo and video frame.
• Vastnaut One AI Powered Exoskeleton – Vastnaut is a wearable robotics company that builds an AI-powered 4×4 exoskeleton built for rugged terrain. It uses an AI engine and a carbon fiber frame to reduce knee impact and uphill effort for hikers and outdoor adventurers.

Attendees will have the opportunity to explore new approaches to home entertainment, gaming and creative applications while connecting with the creators behind these crowdfunded products.

Event highlights include:

• AURA 3 Max Living Room Experience: First unveiled at IFA 2026, XGIMI’s ultra-short-throw 4K 120Hz projector will take center stage in a design-led living room installation. Experience the Aura 3 Max as a home decor centerpiece.
  HORIZON 30 Series Demonstration: Attendees will be among the first to experience the HORIZON 30 Series, with demonstrations showcasing upgraded picture quality and True 4K 120Hz performance for immersive home entertainment.
• Projector Comparison Room: An interactive experience zone featuring side-by-side comparisons of traditional televisions and large-screen projection. Attendees are also invited to bring their own projectors to see firsthand how they compare to XGIMI’s technology.
• Projection Art Gallery: XGIMI creator partner Lucinda will showcase projection mapping art using the Aura 3 Max and Horizon 30 Series, where there will also be an interactive mural where guests can contribute creatively to help make.
• Gaming Zone: A big-screen gaming experience featuring EA SPORTS FC 27, including live gameplay and a tournament showcasing immersive projection-powered entertainment.
• Kickstarter Creator Zones: Dedicated experience zones will spotlight three featured Kickstarter creators – Morpho, Looking Glass, and Vastnaut – with hands-on experiences and product demonstrations. Additional Kickstarter-backed products will also be showcased throughout the venue for attendees to explore.

In addition to the projector showcase, XGIMI-incubated AI hardware brand MemoMind will celebrate the retail launch of MemoMind One at the event.

First introduced at CES 2026 in Las Vegas and later showcased at MWC 2026 in Barcelona, MemoMind One celebrates its retail launch at tm:rw in New York City.
